did i mention how much i like theoatmeal.com. its absolutely awe-inspiring.
was sitting in the car today, when i saw this high element advert, which goes: "COME AND EXPERIENCE THE OUTDOORS", which sounds pretty awesome, until you realise that its in kallang bahru, right beside the PIE. nice.
so its pretty weird about how people call outdoors the outdoors, considering that homo sapiens came from the outdoors. maybe they should have adverts outside shopping malls, saying "COME IN AND EXPERIENCE INDOOR SHOPPING".
I think that as technology progresses, we get less and less inspired.
Six decades ago, millions of people can get roused up, ardent supporters clamouring to get to the front of the podiums. One speech could swell the breasts of so many to fight and give the ultimate sacrifice.
Yet now, we resort to sticking motivational posters on walls, tables and even ceilings. "Motivation, determination...". Bah. Now there are more and more feel good films, but they only last for a short high. Maybe its us getting more and more intellectual, that accounts for more rational thought and less comprehension of non-rational emotions.
Anyway, there are too many materialistic retards out there.

sometimes i find that life is one great big joke, people can pray for all their hearts worth for something and yet never get it. yet some people can dislike something so much yet it falls into their lap. maybe god has a warped sense of humour.
demons will appear to test the faithful, i say, let them try.
