been mega long since i last posted. so i realised. first and foremost, i am practically never ever, say again, never again, travelling with my family (other than the odac family) overseas again. NEVER EVER. because lotsa things would be screwed up, timings will be screwed, people will be delayed, tempers will rise. turns out that hongkong didn't change much since i last been there. still the well, bleak, concrete city that i remembered. pollution is still as bad if not worse, vietnam smells like paradise compared to hongkong. everything's quite cramped up, with the poor and the rich living together. the contrast of the place is quite amazing. behind the glittering skyline of skyscrapers, there are green hills. a couple of streets from where you see a couple of rolls royces parked, you see beggars begging for money. its quite sad. Singapore ain't even close to the hustle and bustle of hongkong. people walking fast to work, running to catch mtrs, ferries, blah blah. even packing themselves like sardines. everything's so frantic, it seems dull.totally didn't understand the tour guides during the china tour with my limited cantonese, which were mostly phrases used for scolding. after you go there a couple of times, you mostly get used to the things there, the food, weather, people. but there's always something new. dog bak kwa and walking in your trunks to the hot springs in the mountains were quite new. china is quite a sad country too, pollution is even worse. rivers replaced by sand, dusty roads, heaps of rubbish all over the place. and of course there are the poor people. a woman feeding her infant with rice from a dustbin. quite a pitiful sight for anyone.

pig pig pig pig, how can someone sleep 11 hours a day. anyone who knows please tell me because i don't know how i managed such an amazing feat myself.haha, its actually quite motivating to know that extraordinary people were ordinary like all of us at first. before they managed to pull off extraordinary things. makes you think that you can do it too. aww, shucks, forgotten to borrow calvin and hobbes from calvin. haha. if a kid were to actually behave and think like calvin, fifty of him and it would be the end of the world. literally.

oh mann. hong kong trip's coming up and i dun have much time left. hmm, wonder what hong kong will be like, though i've been there before. previous impression was that its bleak, concrete, polluted, noisy and the likes. quite appaled at how little trees there were. yucks. didn't really get used to the food there also, ate practically roasted duck/goose/pork at every single meal. grew so sick of it that i threw up and developed a phobia of roast meats for 2 years. horrendous experience. hopefully it wun be the same again this time. but then again, i'm going there to attend a wedding. wedding= roast meat. i'm so dead. can't believe that i experienced vietnam without any food mishaps, hongkong's gonna be a bigger challenge. gonna go to shenzhen again! well, that's the minutely fun part of this entire trip, hahahaah. get to go to shi jie zhi chuan. where minute versions of the world's famous landmarks get exhibited. and to be doted on by your aunt whom you seen in a gazillion years. hmm, maybe this kinda thing changes with age. 8 days. what the heck am i gonna do in those 8 days. there's remotely nothing to do in hongkong. which is a shopping capital. and i coincidentally do not shop for those things that are being sold. not many toys to buy there, hopefully the books are not entirely in chinese or i'll be dammned. oh good golly, i just found out that there are mountaineerin equipment shops!!!! NEAR THE PLACE I'M STAYING!!! WOOHOO!!!!

yawnz, its the time of the day again. time to sleep again. even though i slept like 4 times today. mann, i'm such a pig pig pig pig pig. total GTA madness today, GTA= grand theft addiction. well, finally we are fully fledged instructors. capable of leading our juniors. or supposedly. doubt we can match the seriousness of the 22nd, afterall, they left us with gigantic shoes to fill. but then again, we can try.
